internet download speed

is there anyway to increaes your download speed or at least get it back to normal because i dowload at like 17kb/sec

What do you mean by get it back to "normal"?

How fast is your connection?

There are several download accelerators you can you use that increase download speed most of the time...(not to the extent some advertise about, but most of the time they give you a noticable boost, depending on what you are downloading and from where...
the way they do that is by simply adding more download threads or active download connections which download simultaneously...(the max is 10 threads per download...)
given that, most download managers are pretty much the same..even the free simle ones;if they allow you to have 10 active threads, then they are just like DAP Premium, for example. which you have to pay for to get the "mega acceleration" or I dont know what they call it...whcih is simply 10 active threads!

If you're on dial-up, you cant get faster until you purchase Cable internet.

There is Google Web Accelerator, which downloads pages faster through Google's web servers. But it only speeds up the internet.
