Internet Connection + Broadband Help

I have got, a pretty decent machine, 80 Gig, AMD Duron etc
with 512 ram, and 1mb bt broadband service, sometime's the connection is a little slow, and choppy, and sometimes I have got to restart the pc, has anyone got any ideas?
I use anti-virus software all the time, and use the freeware edition of spyware remover.
also I have a 1.8 GHZ

What kind of connection is it? Cable, DSL, satellite?

ur broadband provider must be bad, else you machine is good to go.

Check with your provider. They may be having problems. They can also check to see if you're getting those speeds to your PC.
