I cannot replicate the problem, but my girlfriend and I both post on message boards, and on my Invision board and on an Infopop board I don't use (for the hard rock band Disturbed) she tells me every now and then a topic, a specific one, will close her browser upon accessing it. She has tried both Firefox 1.0 and MSIE 6 Sp1. Of course it doesn't work for me because I keep my system clean and secure.
Here's the link to a topic on that Disturbed board she sent me that crashes her browser every time. Don't worry about clicking it, nothing happened to me. Warning, though, there's some cursing on the site, so if you're offended by that, I guess you'll have to take my word for it.
Could a dynamic image, or badly coded board (Infopop, not the Invision, that thing's up to date) cause something like that?
