I recently swapped out a bad hard drive in a Dell XPS Desktop, 32 bit system running Windows Vista. The hard drive i installed was blank and I could not access the filess on the old drive. I installed the drive, reinstalled windows vista using the reinstallation cd tha came w the pc and everything seemed good. My client is now having issues with certain websites. The error i see is " Operation Aborted", which I have seen before. I have performed all the common fixes for this issue eg( script debugging settings, Active X settings, etc. It prompts for active x install but then just freezes when i try to install. Any input or has anyone came acrss this issue bfore

when i started having problems with IE9, i switched to FF. UIs are much more similar now.
is there anything in the event viewer?
