.html problems

i have a problem with some .html sites such as macromedia, the bit where you download flash player from, all that will happenin is a little red x will appear in the corner
the little red x appears in the box intead of anything else on this site:

reset your internet securities to default. If you are using FF allow popups for this site.

no ive tried that and it still doesnt work. i have internet explorer 6 by the way

you can try registering dll's by : from the run line type in : regsvr32 urlmon.dll and hit enter.

Is it just on the macromedia site ? you might just need flash player.

Are these other sites using flash for their sites ?

i am not sure, just some interactive ones that end in .html

"interactive" could mean that they are using flash in there somewhere... find a flash download and see if that works for you.
