How much does Cable Modem & Wirless Internet cost?

Dial-Up is around the $10-$20 range + phone bill right; on a monthly term.

I was wondering what Cable Modem & Wirless Internet runs for on the monthly term; and how much would it cost to get it hooked-up & ready to go.

AND

What are some of the most popular services people use for a good price, and is there a way to get AOL with that?

Different areas will, of course, have different prices. In my area, I've seen several cable ISPs that are around $40 USD per month for a 2mg to 3mg connection. Some will charge a monthly fee for their modems, too, or it may be included in the monthly charge.

Generally speaking, it seems that there's promotions all the time so that one can get free installation and hook-up. When there's no specials, some of the hook-ups are between $50 and $100.

I don't know of the most popular service, that again may be determined by your location.

My question is, if you're getting cable, why would you want AOL?
