I am running XP Pro 64x. It is running IE 6 64bit, and update wants to install IE 7 64bit. Flash player and some other sites only work with 32 bit browsers. How can I install IE 7 32bit instead? Or have both?
Well if that is the case. Updating to IE7 will allow both 32 Bit and 64 Bit versions of IE7 to be installed. After that just install the flash player and you should be good to go.
Umm no. Read the thread carefully please. He says he wants to run IE7 32 Bit on XP X64. Just running iexplorer.exe would run the 64 Bit version. The area i had him go to shows that he does have the 32 Bit version he jsut needs to update to IE7 now. So it is not fixed till he updates his system and sees if the same executable runs the 32 Bit version of the browser. Not the 64 Bit version.
