How do you BAN a country from viewing your web site?

Well, this situation is somewhat different man. China, North Korea, etc. ban it's "citizens" from viewing outside websites that might spread anti-government sentiment. This guy wants to keep outside people away from his website. "Outside info coming in" vs. "inside info going out". In any case, in a vast network such as the internet it is impossible.

Technology aside, this whole thread (and the original premise) just sounds too nutty to me. "The very bad people from [somewhere] are going to come and do something to our little down town".. wtf???.. To his credit, he didn't mention the crazy story until someone asked him..

I know it's two different things, but at the same time, the theory behind both is the same.

At any cost, the idea of simply blocking an entire race from a certain website is ridiculous. It's like toilets white that automatically close when a black person comes within a few inches of it. Ridiculous, and simply absurd. Someone please close this thread.
