How to convert OST file from Outlook 2003 to PST file?

I realize that there are a number of commercial programs that claim to be able to do this conversion. Since this is for a one time individual use I was hoping to find something more affordable. Perhaps you can point me in the right direction. Thanks.

Stephen, what are you trying to do exactly? If the file is on a computer and you can open/read the email that you're trying to use, all you need to do is save the mail to a backup. That would be the simplest way. Use Outlook to backup your current mailbox.

Like Midnight said, open outlook and archive the emails to a PST... If you have a OST and the mailbox has been deleted, then there is alot of freeware that can convert the OST to PST... no need to pay for it, just DL a few and try them out...
