OpenDNS like the others have said, or, invest in a proxy that will filter and actively terminate connections to such sites since it's easy for kids to get around OpenDNS settings these days.

Not even if set on the local machine? if the AT&T router dosen't let you, you could always set it direct though computer. Heres an article I found:

Unless AT&T somehow manages to block that too (Seems kinda overkill)

you can set you pc to whatever you like, it's the AT&T modem that connects to the their server

Just posted for a FYI.
I was using open DNS when I had comcast, but when I switched to AT&T the installer could not get my pc on line, it was driving him nuts until I remembered that my router was set to open DNS address, I reset it to the default and then we could get on line. AT&T claims that because their tv comes through the same line....you must use their servers. I can't even get my own modem, I have to "rent" one from AT&T....dirty basterds
