ive just come across some old backups of mine. i think when i tried to backup my browsers, for example firefox, i must've just copied the whole firefox folder (with all its subfolders, files etc). now in my backup directory the firefox folder is 26.6 MB, but I cant find any relevant bookmark backups there. the only bookmarks file i do find, has only the bookmarks firefox comes built in with. is there any way to extract my old bookmarks from there? how about my old sites and passwords? the latter is not so imp, the former would be nice.
EDIT - oh and same deal for opera. in that one it has many more subdirectories and i dont even know where id find a backup if it does indeed exist. is there some way to extract the bookmarks?
