At school all the computers use IE6, how ever recently I have found a way to install programs onto them (You can't run .exe files but if you put the installer exe file inside a zip file then run it, then make a shortcut to c:\ in my documents, then on the install browse to the c:\ drive via the shortcut and install it). IE6 sucks, so I installed Google Chrome and it works great :)

How ever I was wondering about firefox. Today I installed it but it wouldn't connect to the internet (page cannot be displayed error). On chrome a box came up asking me for my school login & password to connect to the internet and it worked, is there an option to enter this in firefox anywhere, because I can't find it.

Thanks to anyone who can help me.

I would ask the school admin if they would install Firefox for the students to use. No reason to get your computer privileges revoked when you can just ask permission.

We wont help you bypass your school security. Get permission.
