Google video not working-oddly

About two weeks ago google video stopped working on my PC. When i open a video the green bars that show the progress stop at a random point and dont continue loading. The video screen never appears, however i never get a message saying server connection timed out or anything. Not only that 30 minutes ago youtube has stopped working in the same way. Any ideas as to what is happening?

Works fine for me with Flash 8 + FF2.

What browser are you using? And what is your connection speed (ie, dial-up, cable, whatever)?

make sure that you have the latest version of macromedia flash

I am using mozilla, i have cable. I never get any pop ups regarding installation of a macromedia flash drives etc.

Just because you don't get a reminder doesn't mean you are running the latest version. Try updating your flash and see if it helps.

It isnt a driver problem. I have XP and google video works on everyone elses account except mine. Explain that.

Then just delete your account and make another one.
Remember to copy all your files in "My document" to your new account, before you delete it.
