firefox wont start after 3.5.2 update

i get notifcation about the update i do the update it finishes and then firefox doesnt start i check my running process no firefox in sight..i restart my pc and the same problem..then i download the stand alone installer and install again same problem also did a clean install removing previous version all traces of it did nothing,doesnt work in firefox safe mode ive made exceptions in nod32 ive even tried it with no firewall or antivirus running still doesnt work so i go back to previous version everything works fine..i use ad block plus no script and leechblock and my theme is past modern

i had a similar problem when i wanted to try google chrome awhile back it would install but never came up..dont know if something is causing an issue for both but i really need to and want to update my firefox but cant someone please help..by the way im running windows xp

ive already used another online scanner plus super anti spyware and nothing found

That doesnt mean your clean. I can run Nortn and McAfee scanners and they can say i am clean when i am not.

Have you run combofix, malwarebytes and hijack this?

when i try to run combofix a cmd prompt flashes the screen then disappears nothing else comes up

so i ran malwarebytes and combofix they both found a few things cleaned everything tried firefox update again and still same problem
