Firefox and streaming video downloads

I recently started using Firefox and the Download helper application to download streaking videos, but i cant seem to figure out how to view them or the program to use. Any tips?

Where you downlaoded the plug in they have either a site or a guide right there that gives you all the info needed.

There is a FLV player out there. Bunch of them actually.

dont use real player.

Use real alternative. much less invasive

yeah rel alternative is nice, but the fact still remains Real Player sucks, why wont it just die.
