firefox doesnt remember my passwords

i use mozilla firefox and for some reason it doesnt remember passwords, say for example i go to CF forums i have to type in my username and password and when i close firefox down and when i open CF forums again i have to re-enter my username and password again, i ahve no idea, ive tried uninstalling and re-installing firefox again also i have clicked on remember my login information forever you know when you do it for the first time. can anyone help me

Have you checked your options to make sure that Firefox is not set to clear yoru cookies and cache upon exit? Have you gotten the CookieCuller Extension which will save your cookies for a specific site?

also i made sure firefox doesnt clear my saved passwords, cache and cookies

Tools > Options > Privacy Tab - Uncheck "Clear private data on close"
Tools > Options > Security Tab - CHECK "Remember passwords"

Make sure this is how your browser is set up.

Do you have any addons?
