FireFox bookmarks..

Hey guys.

Recently my Windows decided to completely flop when I tried a repair install, so I simply did a fresh reinstall over it, without formatting.

Now, since all my files are intact, I'm positive there's a way to get all my old FireFox bookmarks back, since I had too many to hunt down and find again.

The thing is, I can't get into my old account at all, except that all the files are exactly the same.

So how would I get my bookmarks back, without having to look for them all?

If your files are all still there then do this:
Make sure you are an Administrator on the machine.
Start, Run, REGEDIT.
navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList\
now find the profile that has your username in the ProfileImagePath. Double click on ProfileImagePath and change the path to point to your old user directory. Now reboot.

That will make your current user use your old profile, all of your stuff should be there.

What else has been changed? My desktop went black and my icons are still the same, no other changes that I can see yet..
