Firefox 3.6 is 15% Faster than Previous Version

ComputerWorld ran some tests to see how much faster Mozilla's latest version of Firefox, 3.6, is compared to its predecessor and to some competing browsers. They found that it is indeed faster than 3.5 by about 15% but still trails Opera and Chrome. I personally use Chrome for most day-to-day stuff and Firefox for the sites that don't work on Chrome.

Even Microsoft, which had disparaged speed tests, has acknowledged its developers are working on giving the next version of IE a kick in the pants. In November, Steven Sinofsky, Microsoft's president of Windows and Windows Live, claimed that early work on IE9 put the browser's JavaScript speed "on par" with rivals.

I'm liking 3.6 so far. I am running the beta Flash with CUDA, though, so I have had some crashes due to it I do believe.

I'm liking it too, it fixes a few stability and speed issues...and HOLY CRAP FACEBOOK + WINDOWS 7 + FIREFOX ACTUALLY FRIGGIN WORKS.

Not perfect, so I'll be waiting for the next upgrade to come out.
