firefox 2.0.0.1 prob

ill just make it simple, my download manager dont work. ill click something to download, and the manager never pops up, and even if i open the manager, nothing is there, but on the desktop, there is 2 new files, the file im downloading (0kb) and another one with its filename and a .part extention. what gives? if i close firefox, the download ends, and i have to go get it again...

Hmmm... that's weird. Uninstalling and reinstalling comes to mid.

I use Download Manager Tweak, myself.

try other download managers

try downthemall (it's fast and it's bugfree). it's a firefox extension. see if that helps.
