Firefox 1.0.3 VS Opera 8

Im using Firefox right now, but I may give Opera 8 a chance..

I went through an Opera phase but switched to firefox just coz the ads were getting a bit irritating in opera. Now i have a liscence key for opera (so no more ads) so i though i'd go back but i've got so used to ff now its hard to move back. -- I do miss the tile option in opera though, fantastic idea

You probably mean you miss the tile option in FireFox? Cause Opera supports MDI, FireFox doesn't.

I tried Opera 8 for a week. I also did my own tests with two identical machines -- firefox was faster, loaded pages correctly, and never gave me any trouble. Opera was slower, yes... slower. Most pages that use CSS had errors on the page. I got more 404 errors with Opera than IE or Firefox.

If you like Opera, great. I personally found Firefox to be better.

i've seen hundreds of tests from lots of sites that go back and forth.

in the end it's all about what you like to use.

im going to try out opera tommorow i believe... just to see what it is like. personally im not to picky... but i do like my ff so far.

long as it isn't IE
