File sharing

Hi there!

I'm not a real computer genius althought I'm not a total noob, but I got a stupid question: does anyone know any software to share files (nothing illegal just personnal stuffs) with friends at a nice speed?
if possible a free one, it is not for professional use so I'm not really going to invest into that.

speed depends on inet connection. another option besides vpn is to setup an ftp server.

Well, you can only upload as fast as your isp will let you. (It's probobly slow.)

I'm running on Windows 2K pro. And I'm more likely looking for a solution to replace the slow MSN solution. But I'm afraid I'll need to use an ftp..
