Sorry if this is the wrong section to post this, but I have a question regarding Facebook fan pages. I am the admin for a fan page of mine, and I was wondering how you get it to where the people who have liked your page can get text updates whenever you post something new.

I think that is all on their end. I believe they can favorite it and get an alert whenever you post something new. I don't know if they can get sms alerts or not, best of luck!

They have to subscribe to your page and choose to get notifications from it. I wish it were that easy!

Yes, they have to subscribe to our fan page and they have to choose to get notifications.

Even i do have a fan page. But no one subscribed for sms alerts.

As many have mentioned here, it's up to the user. But what you can do is promote the fact they can subscribe to SMS alerts.
