Empty web pages...

We have been experiencing problems lately in that some websites no longer load and get blank pages. It says at the bottom images, etc are downloading and when it is done, there is nothing.

We have J2SE Runtime Environment Update 5.0 Update 2 and 4, also Java 2 Runtime Environment Standard Editionment v 1.3_04 , v 1.4.2_04 and v 1.4.2_06.

Sites such as for Sky News etc used to fully load, now we get blank pages and I cannot think what has happened to affect such sites.


Can anyone help please?

Why all the different Javas installed? Your having conflicts with your Java because you have so many installed. Your browser is probably going bonkers trying to sort it all out. Uninstall each and every Java version, clear it all out. Now install the latest stable version of Java and you should be set.

okay done that and still the same! But I've downloaded firefox temporarily to test and and now the sites that IE aren't showing are showing perfectly with firefox. How weird is that, as the settings were imported from IE to firefox.
