Downloading files into H: Drive

Hi, I am not very computer savvy, don't know if this is in the right area, but I recently had to redownload XP, the copy I used was the professional verion. My old version was home. Now that it's been downloaded all my files I try to download from gaming sites for my kids, want to go on my H:drive. It will pop up and say not enough space on h:drive and cancel the download. How do I change this so that my default drive is C:drive. Thanks for any help.

Just download it to a different location.

I have been doing that when it gives me the option, but most times it will not give me the option to change the location.

What are you downloading with?

Right click and use save target as:

Which browser are you using? Firefox you have to change the download location via the options. IE you can just select where to download to as well as Opera. It is only Firefox you have to adjust it in the settings to get it downloaded to a different spot.
