Download acceleraters

Using two download acceleraters (Download acclerater plus and Internet download acclerater) with broadband cable (comcast) and firefox, my download speeds for mostly 500-800 megabyte game demos, are much, much faster than usual, but the files always end up corrupt when I install them?

Why?does it happen to others?

try reinstalling the accelerator app. sounds like its not joining the files properly.

This has happened with multiple programs, and multiple installs of that program.

if you download the file w/o an accelerator, does it work?

It has not before, but usually yes.

maybe where ever you are downloading it from has the corrupt file....have you tried downloading it from other places ??

I am not thinking of a particular file in general. I have gotten corrupt downloads with files from many places. Has no one else ever gotten corrupt files when using a download accelerator?
