i have dail-up internet and every time i go to connect it goes:
dialling...... all good
verifying user name and password........ all good
authenticating network (or something like that)......... computer reboots (sometimes goes to that blue screen with the white writing)

I have no idea what is doing this. I have run Adaware and Spybot S&D and antivirus software as well. I have also updated my modem drivers. The blue screen also does not specify any particular file that is problematic down the bottom. Plz help i need the internet at home.

It might be a problem with your ISP. (AOL, Netscape..) Does everything else run alright? Try running a virus scan to see if there is any corruption on the computer anywhere.

its not a prob of the isp and on any of the other windowzes and linux that i have installed there is not a problem.

As far as you know there is no problem with the servers for your ISP. Change the number your dial see if you can connect to a different server.
