Deleting "History Items"

1st post!!! any help would be appreciated. i've tried the following to delete such items: delete cookies, delete files (w/checked box), all of auto complete, temp files, start > run > type - services.msc > set "Protected Storage" to Disabled.

nothing seems to be working for me. when i do click delete, nothing happens. thanks for any feedback.

Just run [Disk Cleanup] from [System Resources], even schedule it to run every so often,

or download Crap Cleaner & Clean Up and run them every so often,

do you mean that you want your system set so it never stores these history details, go to [Internet Options] for IE and use the settings in there.
