The craziest problem I've ever seen

I've been around since the 80's; and I'm finally stumped.

I've googled my ass off, and still have no clue about this one.

I can't get any outgoing email working EXCEPT for Outlook. I tried using m2 and Thuderbird; and the SMTP fails.

However, if I use Outlook... I have no problems.

Does anyone have a clue??

You probably already looked at this but......Have you checked your firewall settings? I'm pretty sure that outlook uses the POP3 (port 110), while SMTP uses port 25. Maybe the firewall is blocking port 25 and not 110.
