continue downloading where i left off - 27%

i don't know how this works,

i started downloading a download that was going to take about 10 hours over dial-up, 196 mb,

i stopped at 7% complete, then started again with no problem where i left off,

then stopped again at 27%, then when i signed back onto the internet, i foolishly deleted my tempory internet files,

when i began the download again, it started at the very beginning,

was it the tempory internet files that i deleted that did this,

is there a way i can get the download to start again at 27% ?

Sorry, but once you deleted the temp files, your download went with it.

To do what you want to do, look at a seperate download manager. try browsing majorgeeks.com and see what you can find along those lines.
