Default Content Management Script

Right guys,

Just wondering if anybody can recommend some free content management scripts...

Similar to PHPNUKE - but NOT!! I am not a fan of PHPNUKE!

I only want a basic design, menu down left hand side, content on page, basic header!

Maybe similar designs at topix or Microsoft-Watch. Or just something similar to a blog layout!

It wont be a big website, preferably with a registration option (as I want my user to have to register to download what I am offering).

Only small script if possible, but not a necessity!

Any programming language!

Thanks

Hello,

Mambo CMS is a popular, free Content Management System:

Alternatively, Joomla is a very good, free Content Management System based on Mambo CMS.

http://www.joomla.org/

...just installed it this evening actually .

there are many, many CMSes out there. Find one that suits you. Try googling them, hotscript.com has a section for it. So do a lot of other PHP sites
