Checking Internet Speed/ Download Speed/ Upload Speed

I am brand new to these forums and I was just wondering how to check my internet Speed (mbps), download speed, and upload speed.

Is there a difference in all three?

You can get speed test, look on ur ISP site to see if they have one available or just search google and u should be able to find one. That will tell ur download speed. U can probably gets ones that test ur upload speed. Their should be a difference in all three, lol and btw i think its just two different types. Download speed is net speed(i think) and the other is upload speed. Download speed will be a lot faster in most cases. Dowloading is for dl things 2 ur comp etc and uploading is for uploading from u to other ppl.
