cannot play online games...

I've had this issue for a little bit of time now, trying to resolve it with no such luck, and it's really starting to **** me off. I cannot connect to servers using games. I've tried to different games with online capabilities and partypoker: according to partypoker's error report, it is an issue on my end. The only firewall that I'm aware of having is windows firewall, and when I turn that off, I still can't connect to any servers. Anybody have a clue as to what this could be?

Are you behind a router?

What Antivirus do you have installed?

I had Norton installed, but the trial period expired; so I think it's quit working. I was behind a router at one time, but not anymore.

Nah, but I DID figure out the problem. There was apparently a program that was installed that conflicted with outside sources connecting to the internet. Honestly, my internet-ignorance is so drastic that I didn't even realize what the program was, except that I didn't install it. After I deleted it, everything works again. Thanks for your help anyhow, bradybnmci!
