hi just wondering if there is a way to restore internet history that has been automatically set to delete? We use google chrome and its set to only keep history from the last 2 months is there a way to view the history from before this time?

No. Once the data has been deleted from the browser it is gone.

Unless you can recover it from the AppData folder of Chrome using something like Recuva (and it hasn't already been overwritten by the system for other data).

Most likely it will be overwritten quickly. Since it is just a temp file used, Chrome will over write the old history with the new one. The chances that you will find the exact file needed, and be able to open it, are slim.

Not saying that it won't be overwritten right away if Chrome is used for a period of time.

I've had to do it before when my Windows install corrupted, and ended up having to recover bookmarks and other settings/data from Chrome. But that's just like any other file recovery - the quicker you do it, the more chance you'll have at recovering everything you need.
