Automatically reload page

Is there any way to get a browser to automatically refresh a webpage if it gets a "Page cannot be found" message? I don't mean reloading a page automatically at a set interval, I mean reloading a page whenever there is an error loading the page. I am looking for this ability in Firefox or Opera but any webrowser that can do this will work.

I might have worded the error message wrong. I want to automatically refresh whenever there is a problem connecting to a server or connection refused, not when the page cannot be found.
