annoying porn ims

I don't know why but I keep getting imed by all these porn screennames and it's really annoying. I was wondering how they got my sn in the first place and how I can get rid of it. I thought it's because my brother watched porn on my computer and then somehow they got my IP address? Someone explain this to me please thanks.

I don't know, I hate to say this but if you can't block all of them, then you might have to get a new sn and transfer your buddy list.

That's exactly what happened. whenever somone gives out their Email address to sign up for one of those P00rN Keycodes, It immediately summerizes your whole system into some bastard's server. It also results in S L O W E R load times because of all the P0RnWARE it loaded to your startup items.

Kinda like AOL browser, but better.

oh nah i don't think he gave them an email...he just dls that crap
-_-. I keep telling him not too but he does it anyway. Btw does it still happen if he uses a different computer through a network (as in would it affect my comp or just his) ?

You need not give an email. ANY time you visit a site on a personal server without having your own (updated) firewall, you're going to hell in a handbasket.

It dosn't affect the rest of your networked computers as long as he wasn't logged in as the Administrator, and logged into the rest of the network. If he was...

wait how do you log into a network? I thought you were always in a network; i didn't know you can log in and log out. Oh and no he's not the admin (thank god) but now we have two comps and he's basically going to be the admin for his own comp. I'm thinking of installing Norton Internet Security and turning on Parental Control on...but it's a hassle. Are there any free programs that can block porn? Windows Firewall doesn't seem to work.
