Every time AIM (newest version) (this happens in all versions) i get the AOL browser pop up and its VERY annoying, is there any way to disable that?

After you log in
ress [F3](Preferences)
Under Catergory>Sign On/Off>Uncheck "Show AIM Today window at sign on">Press "OK"

You press [F3] after you log in, as stated above. Another way of getting to the preferences, if you have version 6, is to go to the top menu>Edit>Settings

I know this is unrelated to your now-solved problem, but if you haven't, you really should try Trillian - it can run any combo of AIM, MSN, ICQ, Y!, IRC, Jabber, etc... and removes all ads that AIM places upon you.
Those dang ads with noise by themselves are worth the change.

I know this is unrelated to your now-solved problem, but if you haven't, you really should try Trillian - it can run any combo of AIM, MSN, ICQ, Y!, IRC, Jabber, etc... and removes all ads that AIM places upon you.
Those dang ads with noise by themselves are worth the change.
i would like to use trillian but does it support offline instant messaging for MSN and AIM?
