Question What are the different usergroups?

I notice that there are a lot of different usergroups which change based on post count (I think). I was wondering is there a list of these usergroups here on the forums? What are the different privileges for each usergroup?

Thanks for any information!

Here's a full list:
Regarding avatars, signatures, and special areas:
Forum privileges have been set up on usergroups. These usergroups allow for different forum privileges to be earned as members participate in the community, and thus are based on the number of posts made by members. Here is a current breakdown of those permissions and the usergroups for them: Registered Users (0 -39 posts):
  • Only forum provided avatars
  • Profile pic, 100x100
  • Forum titles
Registered Users Extra (40 - 100 posts):
  • Same as above
  • Signature allowed, text only (according to the rules)
  • Custom avatars allowed, 80x80
  • Gain access to the PM (Personal Messenger) System
Registered Users Extra BST (100 - 249 posts):
  • Same as above
  • Custom avatars allowed, 100x100
  • Graphics and text sigs allowed, maximum size of 300 x 100 (accoding to the rules)
  • Buy/Sell/Trade forum available
Registered Users Extra 2 (250+ posts):
  • Same as above
  • Custom avatars allowed, 120x120
  • Graphics and Text sigs allowed, maximum size of 600 x 150 (according to the rules)
  • Custom forum titles.
Any and all of these privileges can be revoked, but will only be revoked if there is reasonable evidence that calls for it. Also, any member "spamming" their post count to try to gain access (such as a multitude of useless or very short "I agree" type posts) will quickly find either their posts deleted, their access revoked, or both.

That's great thanks. I was unsure how these groups worked. each forum seems to have its own method of this.

Yeah I still don't know them even though I've been here five years

Does the post count apply to my title as content team as well?

imho - this is too big. I used the rules as reference when creating my sig and i really think my sig draws too much attention compared to the 'graphical shininess' of tech-forums, for lack of a better term.

Just my opinion though.. my former webdesign self is emerging! MUST... CONTAIN...

No, it doesn't since you're in a special usergroup that's not a standard member.

Oh that's pretty nice. I tried to find other groups with similar assignments to find out if I had to do anything specific for the board but I could not find anything specific.

Either way, you'd be well out of any of the restricted zones by now since you have a post count much higher than 250 . That's pretty much when all restrictions end.

That's cool! I wondered with the title or user group I'm assigned too if there was some specific postings I needed to contribute to the site for other users.
