Default Two suggestions..

Don't know wether it can be done, but here it goes:

I saw this on two other forums with a good deal of success;

A spellcheck feature before posting. Half of the topics of tech forums are just arguments over grammar.

And a live chat feature, very usefull.

If it's possible i think you should try it out

Just my two cents.

A spell checker would be a useful addition...although not 100% keen on the live chat. I can see how it would be useful would would it be utilised as much as it could be.

Firefox already spell checks for me.

I think we tried Live Chat before, with an IRC channel, but it horribly failed.

There are places to put your IM handles, and many IMs allow group chat.

i agree on a spell check feature... some peoples spelling/grammar is just atrocious and not only is it irritating, but it makes them hard to understand... and therefor hard to help with problems... very frustrating...
and as for the live chat thing... an interesting idea, though it might be tough to implement... the fact that many users have links to their various messaging application handles beneath their name on each post sorta makes it a moot point tho...
good suggestions tho... best way to improve things - RK
