Default Super Moderator?

Out of sheer curiousity, what is the difference between a moderator and a super moderator? Does one have to be a moderator for a while before becoming a super moderator? Just curious.

Super Moderators have more powers than normal moderators.

"Does one have to be a moderator for a while before becoming a super moderator?"
The answer to that is yes and no super moderators are appointed when needed and are normally moderators first.

Super moderators have the ability to moderate all forums, unless noted otherwise by the admin.

Just think of them as mods, with a very limited set of admin powers.

No. A moderator is someone that helps take care of the forums or certian sections of the forums so that the Administrators don't have to take care of every little thing, ie. a post put into the wrong section.

Is it different or the same with becoming just moderator - you only become one if you are needed?

You only become Moderator if a moderator is needed and you have the skill to be moderator, trust to be moderator and have been around for a while and not spam everywhere!

A super moderator is basically a class lower then Admin
