Default Site Slow-up?

I have noticed that TF has been taking awhile to load a page. It's normally instant. Takes like ~7-10 seconds more to load. Looking at threads and posting in them.

Might be just something working on the servers. Just a heads-up.

AFAIK there's some testing/maintenance going on atm, probably peg it down to that.

last few days, doing testing (learning what NOT to do) and getting ready for an upgrade of TF...

and speaking of 'speed', will be using a CDN for TF!!!!

a few new features coming .... tomorrow?

cross your fingers!

I was on when they started to work on it. All the sudden I couldn't load any new pages. But the announcement that popped up calmed me down. I have to admit it freaked me for a bit.

So... is TF faster now?
is the CDN helping speed up the site?

I think certain things load faster, but I'm seeing (I think anyway) there are some issues/problems where the code is not coded correctly or things are working as intended. Its on the the todo list.

but any feed back on site speed (good or bad) would be appreciated.

thanks

It's fine for me. Some pages take awhile to load, but with a lot of pictures, that is normal

Getting some weird issues when trying to post. Either it takes ages to redirect me back to the thread or it doesn't manage it at all and it leaves me on a blank page. Typically when I get a blank page, all susbesquent attempts to post or send a PM will fail in the same way. I haven't worked out what the condition is before I am able to post again (could be a random time, could be till I restart my browser, etc).
