I've just joined and was wondering why my picture wasn't showing up with my posts?

I don't see any images in the posts, neither as attachments or IMG tags. Being new the forum software could moderate your posts automatically but there hasn't been anything in them to trigger it so far.

I just clicked on your name, then Public Profile and saw your picture, but that's not the one that comes up on your posts, you know, the orange animation. I've got a photo on my Public Profile, but not my posts. Obviously I'm not doing it right! It's probably something really simple.

Your Avatar and Public Profile photo are different. Your Avatar shows up next to each of your posts, and your Public Profile photo only shows up when somebody visits your profile.

How do I get an Avatar?

User CP (at the top menu) -> Edit Avatar (on the left menu)
