Odd problem with my post count

I am having a problem with my post count it keeps reading as 35 but it is way more it is only a minor issue but it is quite annoying and I like to see how many post's I have, Can I get some help with this.

Posts in Off Topic do not add to the post count, or at least they didn't use to before the upgrade.

Ok thank you for clearing that up trotter, why was it decided not to let post in OT not count towards the post count?

Originally, OT posts counted, but it was decided that many were only posting in OT but having a huge post count. this made some look like they were helping a lot of people, but they were only hanging out in OT.

The decision to not let OT posts count in the shown post count was made a long time ago, and it has stood ever since. I kinda like it, because it shows who is really active in the forums and who is not.

OK thank's for that I think it's a good idea. Thanks for clearing that up . I will keep that in mind.
