Default iPhone app "home" page

I just got my iPhone and hit this app up and I like it a lot but there seems to be an issue with the home page feature.. It never really refreshes unless I close and reopen the app and when I sort by newest it doesn't pick up the same threads that j get when I do what's new on the full site. Is this a known issue or am I just doing something wrong

I noticed that exact problem when I used it.

This is a known thing. It is up to vB to fix this. Since Larry was in charge of updating the apps and has since sold the site we are stuck on an old version of the app with no way to update it anymore.

Once some other changes have been made the App is going to be phased out or replaced completely.
