I am, once again, in need of assistance

Hi, it's me again. I need some help having to do with a post. On the "what do you think of photography" poll, i posted an attachment that just created a link to download. I did not wish for this to happen and I was wondering, how do I get a regular picture to show up on the post without needing a link? I would very much appreciate any help anyone is willing to give me.

You would need to upload the image to a server, then post the address to the image inside of [img ] and [/img ]

Without the spaces of course.
