Honestly speaking I don't see the problem. I lol'd harder than I should of at PPs GIF. I don't particularly see a problem as long as its nothing illegal or Criminal.

The gif I had apparently crashed several peoples comps back in the day. Lasted a good minute.

And after that sentence, to state the obvious, I have no problem with animated avatars. Just an extra method of expression.

Why are these allowed? They are so annoying. It's hard to even read a thread with a user with one that post frequently. Most people don't use them, but it only takes one regular user to make the forum experience worse for the rest of us. This can't be helping site traffic. Why not just ban it?

Ha Ha, I lol'd hard at this response. Mind you I think for an animated GIF its deffo been blown out of proportion.

Should move away from Adblock Plus - they're letting ads through even on their whitelists. I switched over to uBlock (µBlock) and it seems to also be less resource intensive than ABP.
