Just did this because some of the new comers don't fully understand what's the difference.
Used a fellow member, who is quite cool and hope he doesn't get mad :p, it's censored anyways to protect his privacy :p.

You must have 40+ post to have an avatar.

The Green square is your profile picture.
The Red square is your avatar.

Not sure exactly which forum this goes in, but you can move it to the respectful area if necessary.

It is real simple actually. Avatar is what you see on posts. Profile Picture is, wait for it.....what you see on your profile.

>_< I mean to distinguish the difference, because some people haven't set a Profile Pic...an when they view the profile, they only see the Avatar and maybe thought it's their Profile pic as well (without knowing the settings for it or explored).

Some people just choose not to set a profile pic. It isnt like it is mandatory. Like everything in the user profile it is up to the member if they choose to set one or not. ;)

Its not useless. Thanks joel!

To tell you the truth it took me 6 months to figure out their were two images associated with my username when i was new here.

Thanks again.
