Using a Forum as my Sites News

On my site Jac's Dwelling, I would like to know how to use my News page on my forums Jac's Forum on the main page, and is it possible to do without making the whole page load, just the part of the forums that has the updates? Could I get a little help on the whole idea of how sites do this, and in not to complaicated terms. NOTE: People note this as important, my site is HTML.

For clarification:

You are trying to load stuff from your forums onto a spot on your home page as news, correct?

If this is the case, you will need to pull that info from your forums (directly from the database) and put it on your site (using php). This is not easily possible in your case, since you will need a server-side language to make this sort of dynamic feature (which I don't think tripod supports).

I'm thinking about what I will do, I have had htis site for a while, but I'm thinking about looking for a better fre host, and mabye trying to learn some php. I don't hav a whole lots of spare time though...
