Yah I need ways to get free traffic to my site.

I want to get some free traffic any sugestions or sites u guys know of?
All I know is we have 20 members and most of them are active members
what i have done
links in sigs
word of mouth
that is about it.

Rule of thumb, dark text on a dark background only serve to drive people away. People don't appreciate having to concentrate to differenciate the two.

Myself I have no problems, but you must consider older people and people with eye conditions.

tough situation. Someone like me goes there and sees many forums with no threads in weeks, I just come right back here.

Have you tried submitting your site to search engines such as google, yahoo etc? That's the best way. Also, surf for sites that relate to yours, contact the webmaster and offer up a link exchange, most are willing to do so for more exposure for their benefit as well.

You could hire like 10 people and pay them $10 to post like 50 posts each. That should make your forum more active and attract more users.

I dont know if it's possible to get a good board unless it is original.
