I just refilled my color cartridge for my Canon Pixma 1600 (cartridge CL-41).
I did so using an ink refill kit, NCR Universal Color Inkjet Refill Kit.
Now when I try to print out photos they all come out with too much red/magenta. I tried adjusting the color intensity in different combinations but I really can't get it to print good. The main problem is it wants to print brown as a reddish brown.
I was wondering if this is caused by refilling the ink cartridge, or if it's caused by using cheap ink?
Should I try buying a generic CL-41 cartridge, or should I try using high quality ink next time, or do I have to go out and buy an expensive genuine Canon cartridge to make it print good?
