i've used the GimpShop to make a banner which uses an alpha channel. If i save this as a gif, it messes the picture up. If i save it as a png, it works in firefox, but not IE.
That's not a huge problem because i'd like to see more people on firefox (especially at school, where people don't know what they're doing, and passwords fly around like crazy!)
i notice that if i save it as a jpg, it exports like it looks in IE!!!!
is IE rendering the png as a jpg?
does anyone know when IE is going to be w3c compliant? (HAHAHAHAHA)
